Quisquelo Guicho

Galician Quisquelo

Used for hunting rabbit in wooded, mountainous terrain, the Guicho is found mainly in north-western Spain and over the border in northern Portugal. The breed's similarity to the Pembrokeshire Corgi and the Vallhund is striking giving rise to the belief that they were introduced by early Celts or possibly Visigoths. The legs are slightly longer than those of the corgi and the sternum is less pronounced.

'Lucky' rescued from s cliff face in northern Portugal where she'd been thrown by an ungrateful owner.
